Hi, I'm Janica, Janelle's sister. When I turned 18, my family put together a party for me in our basement, and don't get me wrong I love them for it, and am grateful with all my heart for what they did, but of course, it would have been nice to get a traditional "Debut Party" (in the Philippines your 18th birthday is called your debut and it's usually a huge party). We've always celebrated our birthdays by going out to dinner as a family the night of the birthday, then have cousins, aunts and uncles for the weekend with each family bringing a dish.
When Janelle turned sixteen, my parents asked her to make a choice, they said "Janelle, would you rather have a sweet sixteen, or a debut?" Janelle chose a debut so that my parents can save up for it. Sadly, in the next two years, gas prices have gone way up, food is a lot more expensive, plus, the electricity, water, and gas bills rose immensely. Because of all these necessities, my parents didn't get to save anything.
| I still wanted my sister to be able to experience the same "banquet hall hosted" parties as our cousins had, so I came up with a plan. To have a website where good people who have a little spare change can donate and help fund Janelle's 18th Birthday Party so she can have the party she's always dreamed of. Then we thought, let's offer the people something for their generosity, so we've PERSONALLY made some wallpapers, icons, paintbrushes, and many more, all for a small donation!
Truthfully any amount will do. If you have that remaining few cents in your paypal account that you can't really buy anything with, we'll GLADLY accept it.
Thank you for your time and hopefully your donation.
